WE NEED FRESH FIRE!
“In our generation we have increasingly suffered from spiritual lethargy and powerlessness. There is a high percentage of weak and lukewarm Christians in western churches who evidence little interest in growing in grace and knowledge. The church may be bustling with activity and at the same time be infiltrated and permeated…Read More

While I agree, the consuming fire is not out. We need to rekindle the fire with the truth of Christ. That high percentage of weak and lukewarm Christians steams from a detour from the truth. We need to renew our minds. Romans 12:1-2, is a start reminder. A passionate plea a cry for revival. “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies…Read More

Well said, I think. I TOTALLY AGREE that we need a fresh wind of the Spirit: but I’m not sure we can blame (and therefore say that our part is just to wait) the Spirit for the lack of true present revival! I think, much as Elder Edgar has stated, that the lack of revival is NOT because the Spirit isn’t moving as He should (so we can fall into…Read More

Very True!! The Spirit is not weak! He is as strong as ever, more than we need for sure!! And as Brother Rodger says: SINNERS DO WHAT SINNERS DO! When we walk away from this we are in a way walking away from JESUS. But alas, nothing is as easy as it sounds or looks! I find that the reason for the laxness and seeming laziness in Christians…Read More

O, for a mighty outpouring
Send it on every heart
O, for a Holy Ghost stirring
In my hungry heart let it start
Purge away all that would hinder
Cause me to seek thee afresh
Open the floodgates of Heaven
Come and thy people now bless! -

Cry for Revival!
Thanks for this good message.
I can’t help think, too, how this incident with Moses does indeed show our need for revival, in how we as leaders can sometimes forget that we are the CO-PILOT, no THE Pilot! It can be so easy to grab the main controls and “take over” – and the manifestation of that (as I know for experience, too) is to become a…Read More

Peace and blessings to you all. Let me say that revival starts with us. It only takes one spark to start a blaze. When we look back over history God has had a habit of bringing the right men and women along, at the right time, to a nation that needed to hear the message of revival and restoration back unto the Lord. GOD IS STILL MOVING. While…Read More

It is a new beginning day. The desert experience is necessary as every major change in your path begins. Distractions are nowhere in the desert as the manna comes daily and there is water from the rock…. and honey in the rock. Walk forward one step at a time. Follow the pilar of smoke by day and the flame of the spirit at night. Exercise the new…Read More

“There’s not a flood of revival in America today. God is bypassing us, provoking us….. The Church has become so carnal… the glory of the Lord doesn’t fill the Temple! God’s going to bypass organized religion and systems before very long… I believe that many denominations are breathing their last right now. I am convinced that God’s going to…Read More

“Revival power is born of the Spirit through faith and humility, not by the power of fleshly methods. Are we planning and pleading with fickle men, when we should be fervently praying to a faithful God?”- David Smithers

I so agree. What is sad though is if you are a Minister, Prophet or Evangelist as a member of a church, you’ll find that not many pastors have that same urgency of revival and so to go to them and suggest a revival is more than likely futile.
