1)  ANY NACM MEMBER CAN ATTEND ANY STATE GATHERING!  (You don’t have to be a resident of the State in which the Gathering is being held to attend it: NACM members are welcome to any State Gathering from anywhere in the USA or world!)

2) Our NACM ELDERS are the only ones who can officiate and lead a NACM STATE GATHERING: and our NACM ELDERS are the only ones who can preside over and offer ORDINATION CONFIRMATIONS (laying on of hands blessings for already ordained NACM member ministers).

3) Important to understand about ORDINATION CONFIRMATION CEREMONIES (laying-on-of-hands blessing): to participate in an Ordination Confirmation ceremony, an NACM member minister must FIRST be ordained through the online application-approval ordination process.  Once you are ordained through the ordination online process, THEN you are welcome to request or participate in a NACM Ordination Confirmation ceremony.

4) The NACM and its Elders are not responsible for providing travel, food or housing costs for attending a NACM Gathering: this is entirely the responsibility of individual NACM members in choosing to attend an NACM Gathering.  If a State NACM Elder or sponsoring church chooses to provide food, lodging or travel assistance of their own accord, that is entirely up to a State Elder to do so: but it is never required or asked for them to do so.

Rodger Niemeier, NACM Executive Elder (46)

After growing up in the suburbs of Pittsburgh PA in a church-going, moral family, I went on to college (Kent State Univ. 1970) for architecture; but I was also introduced into the drug-using, drinking/partying culture of the late 60's, early 70's. Yet it was there that I came to Christ in 1972; the more I sinned, the more the emptiness within.  A man was passing out paperback New Testaments on the campus, and though I grew up churched, I never really read the Bible myself or heard the true Gospel.  After reading through the Gospel of Matthew and experiencing conviction by the words of Jesus ("What shall a man profit if he gains the whole world but loses his soul", I just knew He died on that cross for my sinfulness.  When I read that He was risen and alive, I went to my knees and asked Him to forgive me and make Himself known to me.  He did!  I experienced a tremendous sense of love I'd never felt before.  Immediately I felt called into ministry and completed my training in a Christian college and then seminary (Asbury Theological Seminary: MDiv with emphasis in pastoring and cross-cultural missions).

I also had a calling to minister among Native People.  Completing seminary, I followed His lead from Ohio to Seattle, Washington, to plant a Native church: which by His amazing grace, we did (with my wife and son, and a few Native Christians with the same Vision).  That lasted from 1988 to 2002; then we regrouped into a ministry called Eagle Wings Native American Ministries, with a clearer focus in ministering for recovery from past abuse and chemical dependency. This ministry is continuing currently.

So have been in ministry 50 years, by His grace.  I came across the NACM in 2010, was impressed to join and soon after became Vice President and Executive Elder along with NACM President and founder, Rev Michael Mooney.  It has been an amazing and blessed adventure to minister to fellow ministers!  I love to encourage in fellowship, discuss theological matters as well as present day challenges in ministry, and teach ministry skills courses. I also oversee our NACM Elders and our Chaplaincy Program.

I learn so much from NACM member ministers I get to know and engage with!  This is truly a remarkable fellowship and ministerial association.  I am humbled by the testimonies of how the Lord has worked in so many lives and called so many into ministry.  Will a huge blessing to be part of an organization of Christians who love the Lord, want to be used effectively by Him to reach others and pastor His Flock!

  1. Greetings Brother Rodger,

Its been some time since have been on the NACM members site.  As we all know Life Happens.  I have been struggling with some things this past year.  The struggles have been questioning myself in regards to the following.

    • Am I good enough or even been called by God to help full fill the Great Commission
    • If at times I (I know God is with me, so really us) cannot help my own family members and close friends, then what business do I have going out into the my community or world.
    • I have been blessed to have friends, neighbors, and family members come( I do feel as if God put them in my path) and ask for spiritual guidance but at times feel as if I have only failed them but the Lord as well even though the people say different.

As my husband and I do our best to serve the Lord as His servant will face challenges and opposition from the enemy.   My husband and I are looking for a new Church Home now that our Pastor went to be with the Lord this past week.  The congregation is awesome but its been a long distance church home since we moved back to our home town of Granbury, TX from Justin, TX in 2017.  Pastor Leo and his wife was so worth the distance.  There are good churches here and enjoyed the fellowship and Sermons but my husband and I haven't felt the confirmation from The Spirit saying this one.  We have had family and friends come up to us and ask if we could start a small home based bible study/church.  I could really use some advice.

    God Bless,

    Jean Rene Dyer
