A Call to the Preservation and Perseverance of Our Faith

A Message for the Year 2021
A Call to the Preservation and Perseverance of Our Faith
Michael Mooney, Serving Our Lord as NACM President
As Christians we have a responsibility to preserve our faith, values, and practices for the generations to come. This is all the more important in the presence of the world we live in today which seeks to dilute the power of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Therefore, we call all Christians (especially ministers) to remain watchful and attentive to the changing culture, social trends, legislation, and deceitful media publications aimed at distorting our place in religious, governmental, academic, and commercial rights as members of our free society (of the USA).
“Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.” (1 Peter 5:8).
“Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth.” (Col 3:2).
“Don’t become like the people of this world. Instead, change the way you think. Then you will always be able to determine what God really wants-what is good, pleasing, and perfect.”(Rom 12:2).

  1. … exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints. – Jude 1:3

But, beloved, remember ye the words which were spoken before of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ; How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts. These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit. But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost, Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. And of some have compassion, making a difference: And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.- Jude 1:17-24

Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus, By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh; And having an high priest over the house of God; Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;) And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching. – Hebrews 10:19-25

Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.- Jude 1:24-25

  2.               Thank you for your timely message.  As I read this blog, I could visualize Satan's attack on the church's leadership teams here in America.

Satan is attacking so many Christians today with amnesia regarding the promises they have received from God.  As he showers their lives with so many distracting and time-sucking things, they forget to stand on the promises, prophecies, and words of wisdom given to them.  When we lose sight of the promise, our faith begins to fade.  When our faith fades, our praise stops.  This results in us forgetting to inhale God's word and exhale our praise and prayers.  When Satan (especially the spirit of Python) prevents us from inhaling and exhaling the breath of God, we die spiritually.  Praying is our oxygen!  Without prayer rooting in faith, fear and doubt take over.  Jesus said we could not have perfect love if we have fear in our lives.  See this cycle of events?  Satan does not care if you read, as long as you do not pray.  He does not care if you pray as long as he can keep you too busy to pray.  The cycle of prayer, praise, and faith keeps us in this spiritual battle…winning!  If one component is missing, our spiritual life is a constant misfire and our spiritual weapons are without power.

As men and women of God, we need to reclaim our faith, our status of perfect love with the father, and locate our spiritual armor!  It must be worn each day.  We must take authority over all powers of darkness and principalities of this world, so we can complete our mission….win souls!  With a loss of our vision of the promises, we never make it through the pit to the palace.  If we lose our praise after arriving at the palace, we drift through our lives without purpose, just pain, suffering, and a spirit of lack (spiritually, mentally, emotionally, physically, and financially) conquering all that we reach out to do, making it naught.  As ministers and evangelists, we have to take authority over the spirits that keep us from praising God and standing on his promises while we travel through the darkness and tight spots of the pit.  When we reach this level, we have revival in our lives.  That revival flows over into our churches!  Pray, Praise, and Stand in Faith!  Amen!

We need a call to arms of all spiritual warriors, to remind our members to catch a vision of their promises and purpose.  Teach them how to hold on and refuse to let go!  No matter what Satan reminds us of, or discredits us with, we must press toward the calling on our lives in faith with persistence, prayer, and praise!  Through our pain and persistence, we will reach our purpose and live victoriously.

  3. Amen!  Being called and chosen by the Living God, how could we possibly doubt that all things work together to those who love the Lord and are called according to his purpose?  Stand firm in knowing that he is God. Hallelujah!

  4. Our faith is the most valuable asset we are allowed to hold — a free gift from God to his divinely loved children.  And it is WE who are the representatives of this Divine Love for everyone in the world to see, and actually SEE why God is good, through our thoughts, words, and deeds.  Evil wants to crush each and everyone who holds to God, wants everyone to be mislead into non-belief.  Satan's greatest ploy is getting people to believe that he doesn't even exist.  Armageddon is the final fight, but in the meantime there are ministers of the Lord who are to lead the way for as many as possible to discover the boundless glory of God's power of forgiveness and righteousness for themselves.  Seek those who need your assistance and give of yourself freely and generously, especially to those in greatest need. Never forget — we are God's blessed and glorious army and He is our ark of the covenant with Jesus Christ lighting and leading the way and the Holy Spirit being  our infallible counselor.

  5. Amen.

No One Knows the Day or Hour: Matt. (24:36-39)

36 “But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only. 37 But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. 38 For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, 39 and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be."

Peace and Grace and Blessings from David Ramkumar. ❤️🙏
