A question for all

A Question for all.

When going to Africa last year to share the Gospel, we where told by the team leader to ask a question to everyone you meet.

I you where to die today, and you standing before God, and he asked you one question.

Why should I let you into Heaven? What would your answer be?

We had all kinds of answers from, I’m a good person, I go to Church, I pay my tithe to the church, an I do not know.

Do you know the Answer to the question?

Here is my story about George who went to 2 years of Bible collage and his answer was.

“That is a good Question and I don’t know the answer”

  1. When I went to a seminar developed (by Larry Moyers) to learn how to share the Gospel in a simple way, we were given one mint to wright down what the gospel was in our own words what would we share with someone?

I failed the test I was still righting out my answer before the timer went off.

You can use the fingers on your hands ten words.

“Christ died for my sins and rose from the grave” that is the Gospel now we can expand from that but that’s is a simple place to start.

When we go to Africa and here at home we use the Bad news Good news approach. The bad news about us and the good news about God.

We use two Band News and two Good News

Bad News 1, we have to recognize we are all are sinner Romans 2:23 “For all have sinned and fallen short of the Glory of God”

Bad News 2, we have to recognize, and know there is a penalty for that sin Romans 6:23 “The wages of sin is death”

Good News 1, Christ died for us Romans 5:8 “But God Demonstrates His own love towards us, in while we were still sinners, Christ died for us”

Good News 2, You can be saved through faith in Christ. Ephesions 2:8-9 “For by Grace (undeserved favor) you have been saved (delivered from sin’s penalty) through faith, and not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast”.

For years I would ask if someone was a believer in Christ and not understand the difference between believing vs trusting. I was having a conversation with my boss one day and asked him is his brother was a believer? His response made me think. He said even the Devil believe.

We have to put our Trust in Christ, and Christ alone.

  2. There is only one answer that will have any validity and will ensure entrance into heaven… By the Blood of the Lamb !

That is how we are redeemed, how we have forgiveness of sin, how we have a relationship with God the Father, how our prayers are heard by God, how Jesus interceeds to God for us at His right hand. Jesus purchased us with His precious blood and brought us into the family of God.
