Give Thanks to the LORD Because He is Good

“Give thanks to the LORD because he is good, because his mercy endures forever.” (Psa 107:1)

Thanksgiving is a “day” in our culture that reminds us of our country’s humble beginnings, mountains overcome, and the celebration of freedom.  For Christians, it is more than a day.  It is an attitude of gratitude in our hearts.  Thankfulness for all that God has done, is doing, and will do for those who love Him.  “May God, the source of hope, fill you with joy and peace through your faith in him. Then you will overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” (Rom 15:13).

We the Administration, and Our Elders all wish you a very happy Thanksgiving that we hope will continue in our hearts every day.  Amen.

Michael Mooney, Exec. Elder

P.S. take a moment and post something for which you are thankful below.

I thank The Lord for His Greatest gift to man, Jesus Christ my Savior (washed in His Blood, name written in The Lambs Book of Life, forgiven, redeemed, delivered, set free) and for His Greatest gift to The Church, The Holy Spirit (By whom I am sealed, baptized and filled, anointed and sanctified) I am thankful for all The Lords Benefits, all His Blessings, for His Favor and for His Faithfulness, for His everlasting Love, Grace and Mercy! For Life Eternal! Praises, Glory and Honor be to God The Father and The Lamb forever Amen!

  2. I like the song lyrics Chris Kristofferson wrote:
“Why me Lord? What have I ever done to deserve even one of the blessings I’ve known.?”

  3. I am first thankful for the cross and the resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Because of that, I am able to be here with a future of life and to be able to share that good news with all I meet. With His wisdom and guidance, I am able to be in ministry for our Lord and do my part. I am thankful for the family that has been given me. That family is not only my wife and children but also everyone here that is a brother and sister in Christ. I am thankful for the Word of God that feeds and strengthens my spirit and soul to continue passing through this world to my home in heaven one day.

  4. Blessings of Thanks to our Lord Jesus Christ!  May he  pour forth his blessings of peace, love and forgiveness to all! Most especially bless our homeland (USA) and others in the pursuit of prosperity and justice for all for His Glory.  Fellow Ministers I pray for your continued evangelical work in sharing The Good News!

  5. I am thankful that He loved me so that I can proclaim I am saved, sanctified, and delivered!
I am thankful for family and friends and for the leadership at NACM.
Believing that my God bestows grace, mercy, and love allows me to be confident to share the salvation story with others, to mentor and counsel. I am confident that He alone directs my path (Phil. 1:6) and that if I stumble I shall never fall (Ps. 37:23-24), and that no matter the trials and obstacles there is the confidence of “I have never seen the righteous forsaken or his seed begging for bed” (Ps.37: 25).
Colossians 3:16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God.

  6. I am thankful that God chose me and opened my eyes to the Truth of Jesus and He Saved me. For the very breath in my lungs 3 short years ago I was stage 4 colon cancer I’m still alive because He AIN’T done with me yet. Pray that this next few rounds of chemotherapy will put me into remission for good if God wills.(I had 12 and was in remission for nearly 2 years.  And my beautiful wife whos so full of the Spirit of Jesus that He shine out if her everywhere, she’s my heart because mine is too hard. She helps me not to be such a “man”.. God bless us all Amen

  7. Psalms 7:17  I will give thanks to the LORD because of his righteousness; I will sing praises of the names of the LORD MOST HIGH!
Sing Hallelujah to our God! He is my Savior, my Deliverer, and My Healer! Without him, I could not be in the position that I am now! I give him praises every second, minute, hour because he deserves it; Every Praise belongs to My God!
He makes me shout, dance, and sing his Gospel! I want everyone to enjoy their glory with the Lord! Without him, none of what we do could be possible! When you need help he guides us; remember you are not alone!
1 Timothy 4:4 -5. 4. For everything God created is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with Thanksgiving; 5 because it is consecrated by the word of God and Prayer.
This is what I am Grateful for; to continue to service those that are confused, hopeless, frustrated, unsaintly, sick, homeless, emotional, angry, aggressive; I am grateful to also serve our children of God! He said not to reject anyone.
I continue to provide blessings to my sisters and brothers who spread the word of the Gospel and those who are Teachers of the Gospel! We have Great Work to continue! In Jesus Name We Pray! Blessing to all!

  8. I am thankful to my sovereign Lord and Savior Jesus Christ redeeming me from my sins and giving me new life and new birth in him. I have a purpose beyond the sins that ensnared me. I thank the LORD for our sons, married to Christian women this year. I thank the LORD for this fellowship, that was an instrument in me marrying my brother-in-law and his wife in a Christ marriage under the Lordship of Christ. I thank the LORD for the hope of unity in Christ with my wife in the years to come. I thank the LORD for the faithful remnant of sincere believers who seek Christ and follow him according to his flawless word!

  9. I am thankful that “we” Christians still have an opportunity upon this earth to further the “GOOD NEWS” by participating in the “GREAT COMMISSION” !An opportunity to continue reaching out to the “UN-SAVED”. Why? Because”we” are to be teaching GOD’S Judgement –not (just) to the “righteous ~ but for the sake of the wicked. And we as MINISTERS should be thankful we have this opportunity.James 3:1 “My brethren, be not many masters, knowing that we shall receive the greater condemnation.”EVERY DAY IS AN OPPORTUNITY FOR (US) TO BRING GLORY TO The LORD ABOVE !

      • GOD Bless you Sumayyah ! The Great Commission comes from Matthew 28:16-20. The only direct command in Matthew 28:19–20 is to: “make disciples.” (That from the original Greek) – The Great Commission instructs us to make disciples while we are going throughout the world.“Learn – Preach – Teach” ~ is a motto I try to carry with me. As I LEARN more, I PREACH more and therefore TEACH more.Acts 5:42 “And daily in the temple, and in every house, they ceased not to teach and preach Jesus Christ.”
1 Corinthians 9:16 “For though I preach the gospel, I have nothing to glory of: for necessity is laid upon me; yea, woe is unto me, if I preach not the gospel!”GOD Bless you and yours – ALL GLORY TO YESHUA MESSIAH, JESUS CHRIST !

  10. I am thankful for life, for the Lord’s blessing and honor of His calling and moving in His direction regardless of the insurmountable challenges that have presented themselves to attempt to prevent it! I am grateful for the revival that is coming like none of us has seen before. A move of the Holy Spirit that will truly be a Great Awakening “for such a time as this!” It is time for the church to wake up and I am thankful to be alive during the time to see that happen! May we all be truly postured for humble use to His Majesty to be authentic Christ-like examples through living out and practicing encouraging sound doctrine. I am SO grateful for the lives that will be added to the kingdom in this coming revival and I pray we all become more Kingdom minded and less politically minded when we have to choose. Lastly, I am grateful for this community and hope to have the opportunity to have more time to spend getting to know everyone here. Blessings to all of you!

    • Bless you, Sister Annichino, we are blessed. I am so grateful for the things that the Lord has provided us and shown us. This is a step of reflection upon ourselves and a reflection of how he wants us to be with others. Keep up the good of the Lord, for he will forever bless us through and through. Many blessings to you my sister.

      Best,

  11. I am thankful for His Amazing Grace;
I am thankful for John 3:16.
I am thankful for those in my family that are not saved yet are still here alive. I know there is another day for them & hope awaiting at the door that can be opened from the inside.
    Oh Hallelujah!

  12. I’m thankful for all the Lord has done for me and my family. He gave me two wonderful daughters to a woman with no tubes and ovaries in her body. It was a while ago they are grown now but every time I see them i remember they are a miracle. hank you Jesus.

  13. Iam very thankful for many things tonight, my SAVIOUR, my wife, my ministry and family. Pray everyone had a blessed thanksgiving.
GOD bless everyone Rev George Bircher

  14. We are so thankful that we were appointed to Our new church in Northeast Texas. We have a wonderful church family and great friends here. We are so blessed that all of our adult children are healthy, employed, and doing well at this time in their early adulthood! We love the Lord and are so grateful for the many wonderful memories He gives us. All honor and glory be to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Happy thanksgiving everyone.

  15. I always thank the Lord for helping me throughout my life and day. Thankful for my family and grandchildren.
I am also thankful to the NACM for allowing me my status within the association.
Happy Thanksgiving to all and may God Bless you in the coming days.

  16. I had some knee pain, that was so painful, I couldn’t stand for a while. But I remembered what My Father-in-law always Preached about the man who had no shoes. And how he felt so sorry for himself ,,,until he saw the man who had no feet . My back was keeping me up at night, I couldn’t sleep more than 30 to 45 minutes. I was so tired. I felt very frustrated, living in pain is not a good life. But then I started looking around at People who had missing limbs, who were bent over ,who I knew woke to pain I couldn’t imagine. And I began to Praise God, while at the same time my heart broke for these people. Not just older, teens, children, and I told God I have nothing to complain about. I only missed one Turn in the Pulpit, and when I was there, for those minutes. The Pulpit has always been my emotional, spiritual, time ,, my time and mine alone. It is the Release of the work put in and the battles fought, it just lets go. But now it was a Physical Release, I felt no pain under the Hand of God for that brief period. And God has helped me so much, from then to now, I walk with a limp. But I’m whole and can stand. My back has eased off tremendously. But the experience I had with Christ through it all has made me thankful. He said he would never leave me nor forsake me,. It’s interesting to me with Social Media and how many Friends people claim to have. If you could get one of them to respond, if you really needed something, that would be something. But we have a True Friend who will go all the way with us, even until the end of the World. When the disciples came back telling Jesus , you should have seen us Lord, were knocking it out of the Park. Devil’s running, blind see, lame walk. We have arrived , we are the Cream. And Jesus said don’t, get cocky now, your rejoicing is not in that, nor your material goods, how big your Turkey was. But rejoice, give thanks, give praise, shout it , Your Names are Written in Heaven

  17. I thank the Lord for life, freedom, salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ; for the roof over my head, bills paid, food on the table and for family. Happy Thanksgiving,  everyone & God bless.

  18. There are not enough words to describe the awesome blessings of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! May we continue in the power and strength given to us to be the hands and feet of Christ. I am thankful that He will give us the power to mount up on wings like eagles, run and not be weary …
All praise, honor, and glory to our Savior!

  19. I am thankful for our God’s faithfulness.  This year has been very hard, the hardest year I can remember.  Even though I don’t act like HIM He is still faithful in holding me and listening to me.  Our storm is far from over.  I am thankful God is with me in the Storm.

  20. It is so easy in the crazy fast pace of life to not slow down and really look around and be grateful and thankful of God’s blessings. The time to be still and know He is God. I am thankful for the pause that leads to stillness. It is in the stillness, despite the crazy around me, that God never stops showing His faithfulness and presence.
Thank you God you always got me!

  21. There are a multitude of Blessings for which I thank the Lord. But the most primal is the first conscious breath I take each morning, reminding me that the Lord has chosen me to do his work for one more day on Earth. Thank you Lord.

  22. May we all Develop an attitude of Thanksgiving and set our minds to use these great and magical words of Thank You all the years of our lives and not just on Thanksgiving Day!
    Psalms 100:1-5 KJV
1 Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye lands.
2 Serve the Lord with gladness: come before his presence with singing.
3 Know ye that the Lord he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.
4 Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.
5 For the Lord is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.

  23. I am so very thankful that our Lord saved my life last month from the dreaded illness called Sepsis that had attacked my body.  I am thankful for my family and friends and so very thankful that the Lord Saved me long ago to be a part of His family.  I pray that everyone has a blessed Thanksgiving Day.

  24. I am thankful for salvation through the Blood of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour. I am thankful for my wife and family, the opportunity to share the Gospel with everyone I can, and I am also thankful to be a part of this ministry.  May God bless each of you and your families. Peace and love be with you all.

  25. There are so many things to be thankful for! For His mercy, goodness, faithfulness, provision, protection, healing, deliverance, salvation, promises. May the Lord keep us all to see many more Thanksgivings and may He send revival to America!!

  26. Happy Thanksgiving! I’m very thankful for all the things God has been doing for me and all the things he is getting ready to do for me. But I am also thankful for someone I know who made it out of the hospital with covid and fully recovered. I’m very thankful. His Love and Compassion Never fails.

  27. We have so much to be thankful for it would take volumes to list it all and that does not even count for what is to come as we move forward in His plans for us. Most of all His mercy and Grace is so awesome as all of my family have accepted Jesus and are living for Him. We have experienced His healing power in major health issues, family relationships, and even finances and come to learn and trust that His mercy and Grace is not limited to only a few things! May all have a very blessed Thanksgiving.

  28. I am truly thankful daily for my Lord and Savior that he love me so much that he took my sins upon him.  I know that without him, I am nothing.  This is why I focus on Psalm 100, I adore Psalm 34, and psalm 121.
Though, the Native Americans were the first to celebrate this day, I am so grateful because my God is so good, awesome, wonderful, and most of all loving.
I pray each of you have a bless and Happy  Thanksgiving with your family.

  29. THANKSGIVING COMES AFTER CHRISTMAS, GOOD FRIDAY, AND EASTER. I AM THANKFUL FOR THE SALVATION BROUGHT TO THIS WORLD AND MYSELF THROUGH THE BIRTH, DEATH, AND RESURRECTION OF JESUS CHRIST.
PSALM 100 NASB, 1 Shout joyfully to the Lord, all the earth. 2 Serve the Lord with jubilation; Come before Him with rejoicing. 3 Know that the Lord Himself is God; It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves; We are His people and the sheep of His pasture. 4 Enter His  gates with thanksgiving, And His courtyards with praise. Give thanks to Him, bless His name. 5 For the Lord is good; His mercy is everlasting And His faithfulness is to all generations.☝️

  30. I am thankful for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and His sacrifice for all of humanity. I am thankful He has and always will forgive us of our sins and for those who believe He is our Savior the eternal life He has promised. Thank you Jesus 🙏🏻😇
