“God asked me, “Mortal man, do you see what the Israelite leaders are doing in secret? They are all worshiping in a room full of images. Their excuse is: ‘The LORD doesn’t see us! He has abandoned the country.’ ” Ezek.8:12.

Which excuse do we think will be tenable to make us involve in wickedness? What should make us turn back from the Living God? What challenge should make us think the way of the Lord is no more straight or smooth for us? What should make us say “to your tent oh Israel”? What should make us look for other gods and not the Almighty?

Are you also saying the Lord doesn’t see you and all you do in the closet or in the dark? He that created eyes, are we saying He sees no more?

Does He who formed the eye not see? Does He who disciplines nations not punish? Does He who teaches man lack knowledge? The LORD knows the thoughts of man; he knows that they are futile. Psalms 94:9.

When you forget what the Lord has done in the past either through you or though someone else, you are treading a dangerous path. Remind yourself from time to time what the Lord has done in the past. It invigorates our faith and gives us the confidence that “For yet a little while, And He who is coming will come and will not tarry.” Hebrews 10:37.

The accuser of the brethren is in the business of telling us that God has abandoned us. It is a lie from the pit of hell. How can He forget those He created in His image and wrote on his palm?

“Can a woman forget her nursing child, And not have compassion on the son of her womb? Surely they may forget, Yet I will not forget you.” Isaiah 49:15-16.

If your feelings and what you are going through tell you that the Lord is far from you, it is not true at all. In fact He is closer to you than you can ever imagine. Proverbs 18:24 affirmed that “There is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.” Jesus is the friend whose bond is far more than any sibling.

Nothing we are going through that somebody somewhere has not gone through the worse and came out better. It is not what we experience that changes our mindset, it is our response to whatever comes our way that tells who we really are.

Change your mindset, work on your heart, keep it diligently. The same boiling water that soften garden eggs is the one that solidified fowl eggs. You have no excuse to take wrong decision.

Prayer: Father, change my mindset and change my heart to mind what You mind for my life in Jesus name. Amen 💕
