KNOW IT ALL SYNDROME
“Martha, Martha, you are worried and troubled about many things. But one thing is needed, and Mary has chosen that good part, which will not be taken away from her.” Luke 10: 38-42.
Another deceit of the enemy of our souls is to think we know all is being treated in a Christian program.
Each minister carries a different virtue and grace for every segment of Christian program, except it is not ordained of God. Be eager to receive yours.
We went to minister in a church some years ago. We were ushered into their pastorium. A preacher was ministering fervently in the church. One of the elders who came in from the Church was asked who was ministering. His response shocked me. He said, it so and so that is talking.
Martha also did not know she was missing something. But she was rebuked out of love the Master had for her. She was told, “but one thing is needed, and Mary has chosen that good part, which will not be taken away from her.”
Today, ignorantly, many Christians are still victims of this attitude. The devil uses it to cheat us.
Some do think they have known enough, whereas, the scripture makes us to know that, “And if anyone thinks that he knows anything, he knows nothing yet as he ought to know.” 1 Cor. 8:2.
Beloved, no matter how many times you have read the Bible all over or the materials you have at your disposal, be meek to learn more to enable you worth more.
If God could ask us to learn from creatures as ant, how much more from human beings.
Prayer: Father, don’t let me miss my visitation in Jesus name. Amen.
